Experienced Printer & Copier Engineer

Position: Field-based Printer & Copier Engineer.

Location: Field-based around London and the South East, but reporting to the Head Office located in Edenbridge, Kent. See description for details.

Salary: Negotiable depending on relevant experience.

Company Vehicle: Engineers are provided with a company vehicle to use to complete their job and for personal use. Our vehicles are leased over a 3 year period, meaning our fleet is always modern and reliable.

Requirements: Relevant experience repairing and servicing laser printers and photocopiers to a high standard at component level. The more manufacturers and models covered the better. Network experience including scan to email/folder preferable, but not essential as training provided. Full UK driving license.

Progression: At Temple Knight progression is always available and we strongly believe in promoting from within. We provide our staff with the core skills and training required to allow them to progress, but the rest is up to them. Salaries are reviewed on a regular basis, and staff are rewarded based on their performance and knowledge.

Description: Temple Knight plc are a busy and expanding company and have been in business for 30 years. We specialise in print management solutions which includes repairs and sales of printers and photocopiers across the London and the South East, with a wide variety of customers.

We are currently looking for additional field-based engineers to join our expanding service team. This is a full-time position reporting to our head office in Kent, with an excellent package including a company car, phone and expenses. For engineers based further away we operate a drop and collection point for paperwork and parts.

Our ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and a strong focus towards customer service. We take great pride in our image and appearance to our customers, and rely on our engineers to help promote this professional image. Ideally, this candidate will have good networking skills, but this is not a requirement as successful candidates will receive in-house and manufacturer training. Additional skills working on plotters, scanners, card printers, label printers and fax machines will be of great use, but not essential for this role.

As this is a field-based position, candidates will need to be self-motivating and able to work on their own, as well as part of a team. Timekeeping and communication are key for this role. We promote a team environment that encourages engineers to share knowledge and experience with their colleague.
