TEMPLE KNIGHT

Congratulations to Adam, our new Service Director at Temple Knight

We’re delighted to announce that Adam Payne is being promoted to Service Director, with effect from 1st January 2020.

Adam has been with Temple Knight for 12 years, starting as a Trainee Field Engineer and working his way up to now become part of the senior management team.

We had a chat to Adam to find out more about his new role and ambitions for the future at Temple Knight.

Congratulations Adam! How do you feel about your promotion?

I’ve worked so hard to get here and when it happened I didn’t know what to say. It is still sinking in!

What will your role as Service Director involve?

My main focus is going to be running the office on a daily basis and ensure the smooth running of Temple Knight. To provide an excellent customer service, I want to make sure the team’s working to the highest possible standard, and our company values are maintained.

I want to expand the Temple Knight brand and build a stronger team. Along with this, I’ll aim to help increase sales for the company and take Temple Knight to the next level.

What are your main areas of focus for your new role and what do you hope to achieve?

My main area of focus will be the Service department. Over the past few years Simon, Greg and I have all worked tirelessly to ensure it runs smoothly. I now want to move the department forward to have remote engineers, fixes and installs. Along with reducing the engineers’ travel and giving them the best life on the road as possible.

I want to have a strong solutions team that can run with many forms of software and give our clients an even more unique/bespoke service. Working alongside Simon and our Sales team, this is completely possible.

What makes working at Temple Knight enjoyable?

My favourite part of working at Temple Knight is the team. We have a really unique bond and without them I wouldn’t be where I am today. They are always there to make it the best place to work.

My favourite part of the role is the excitement from completing very specific installs for customers and ensuring their needs are met exactly how they like it. It helps to build long standing relationships and customers have a contact they trust and rely on.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I have a young family with twin girls who are the highlight of my life. I love seeing their faces when I get in from work and spending time with them is priceless.

Alongside my family life, I am an active lifesaving competitor competing at international level. I am due to go to Italy next year for the world championships and what will probably be my last competition. At that point I will possibly look to take up coaching and encourage the next generation of competitors.

Anything else you’d like to share?

I would to take the opportunity to thank Temple Knight and also personally thank Richard & Simon for their belief and encouragement over the past 12 years. They have given me the guidance and knowledge to get to this stage. I am very excited to see what the next part of the journey looks like and help to progress Temple Knight into the future.
