Last week, Adam managed a printer installation at the fruit and veg wholesalers, P&I Fruits Ltd, in New Covent Garden market.
Fruits Ltd have a long history in the wholesale and distribution of fruit and veg. They source as much produce from the UK as possible, with customers ranging from New Covent Garden’s largest caterers to independent retail traders and market stall holders. Up until now, the P&I Fruits team would receive a produce order and record this by handwriting a paper ticket. They write 100s each day! With new technology being introduced to the stallholders, they can record order details on a tablet (which automatically logs the order in their system), and then print the ticket out for fulfilling the distribution.
We installed 4 x UTAX 5006ci machines at the New Covent Garden market units for the printing of their orders. This not only saves them time, but means P&I Fruits Ltd can now better track sales, trends and produce forecasts.
